DrillBit
(Plagiarism Detection Software)
An academic writing tool called DrillBit Plagiarism is intended to identify and stop plagiarism in written work. Users can use it to check textual information such as documents and research papers for instances of plagiarism or incorrect citation. The programme finds any content that matches or is comparable to the text by comparing it to a sizable database of scholarly articles, journals, and online information.
When a passage appears to have been plagiarised, DrillBit Plagiarism usually identifies the possible copies and shows a percentage of similarity to show how close the material is. In order to preserve the integrity of their work and make sure they are correctly crediting their sources, educators, students, researchers, and writers may find it to be an invaluable tool.
Visva-Bharati Library has now access to Drillbit-Extreme 'Plagiarism Detection Software' from 1st October 2023 onwards in the place of Ourginal (Anti-plagiarism software) by the INFLIBNET Centre under the ShodhShuddhi Programme.
In view of the above, let me request all the existing permanent faculty members of Visva-Bharati to provide data/details through the Google form (link: https://tinyurl.com/3tp297zb) at the earliest to enable us to create new account login with the newly provided software at the earliest.
The library will take care to create the link at the earliest on receiving the data/details through the Google form as noted above.
