The National Digital Library (NDL), a project of NMEICT, is an all-digital (free) library that will integrate all existing digitized and digital contents across institutions of the nation to provide a single-window access with e-learning facility to different groups of users. In other words, it facilitates you to access the materials which reside on other institutions’ servers. More than 11 lakh items available.* Educational materials are available to users ranging from primary to post-graduate level, to life-long learners, to differently-abled users. More than 15 types of learning resources are available Hosts contents from multiple subject domains like Technology, Science, Humanities, Agriculture and others Items are available in more than 10 languages.

Access to the NDL system is free of charge. Those having e-mail IDs in ernet, ac, res, nic, gov domain can self-register in NDL using the ‘Register’ button of the site.

NCERT: English and Hindi books of different subjects for students from primary to 12th standard
NPTEL: MHRD-sponsored project that hosts 10,000+ video lectures in engineering domain
**Access: Most must have already received ID and Password from NDL. Else you (Faculty, Staff and Research Scholars) may approach the Computer Centre for an ‘ac.in’ domain e-mail ID. Besides, all can access NDL through two designated machines in Journal Section Central Library.
